Now that Everlint has the ability to track expenses that were manually entered, it seemed logical to be able to assign a category to multiple expenses at once. This allows you to mindlessly enter all your expenses and start assigning categories after you're done. Today I've added such a feature, which can be activated by clicking the "Edit multiple" button in the expenses list view.
Assigned categories will later be used in reports about your expenses. You will be able to see the expenses by category per month. Furthermore the categories will probably be used to add budget tracking at a later stage. This will allow you to create budgets which will be updated during the month, while you enter new expenses.
